Individuals and Organizations that have programs that impact the community. Must not be Philanthropy only. Must have measurable programs.
Ministries that have programs that impact the community. These can be programs at your ministry but must be open to the public and not just for church members. Must show proof that non members benefit from your program.
Community Activists or persons involved in local Government that have developed programs, brought awareness to social issues, or were instrumental in providing direct services that impact the community.
The thirty (30) honorees join a list of some of the most phenomenal individuals and organizations in this nation. The Diligence Awards black-tie ceremony, sponsored by the Adell Foundation.
The Diligence Award is for those individuals that demonstrate the fruits of the spirit and excellence in community service, ministry outreach, and community activism.
There will also be monetary scholarships awarded as well as educational scholarships to Lamad University's College of Adult and Professional Education.
This Scholarship is for those seeking to become Certified Wellness Coaches.
This scholarship is awarded by Lamad University in the memory and honor one of Master Life Coaches, Mrs. Michelle M.. Lewis.
Coach Michelle was a phenomenal Life Coach. Spiritual Life Coach, and Wellness Coach. She coached our Golden Years Foods that Heal and Cooking Matters participants, she also coached at our church partner programs for low income residents. Teaching them how to eat and cook healthier meals. Mentoring, Demonstration and Coaching provided the accountability her coaching clients needed to succeed!
She also hosted workshops on Family and Marriage as well as Coaching those diagnosed with Cancer and their families.
She is greatly missed and in her memory we have created this scholarship.
The receipt will be able to receive full tuition/books toward a Dual Certification as a Spiritual Life Coach/Wellness Coach.
Lamad University has partnered with the Adell Foundation to provide Certified Coach Training to clergy and nonprofit organizations in an effort to give volunteer staff/staff a skill set to better serve the community.
Coaching allows nonprofits not to only give people fish but to teach them how to fish.
No longer a hand out but a hand up!
Clergy that become coaches help their members to mature naturally and spiritually through discipleship and accountability.
Many of our graduates volunteer as life coaches for Adell Foundation Programs. Others are individuals that coach at their church or have started their own successful Coaching Practices.
This is a time for graduates and their families to celebrate their accomplishments.
This award seeks to recognize a member of the nonprofit community that has devoted his or her professional life to making positive impacts in the community he or she serves. Individuals, schools, churches, and organizations are invited to nominate one outstanding candidate for this prestigious award.
This year Dr . Bernice Brooks has been chosen.
