YOU'RE NOT LIVING IF YOU'RE NOT GIVING!

The Peace Center in Temple Georgia is the first created by the Adell Foundation. Since 2021, New Canaan Baptist Church of Temple has served as the Georgia host site for The Adell Foundation's Social Services Office and Peace Center. What began as a youth-focused initiative quickly expanded into a comprehensive family wellness model after recognizing that lasting change requires supporting the entire family. We now have Peace Centers in three Georgia locations and in Homewood and Dixmore Illinois.
The Peace Center in Georgia is the largest center and offers evidence-based programs that strengthen individuals and families through mental wellness education, mindfulness, nonviolent communication, STEAM enrichment, financial and nutrition education, and family engagement. Signature programs include Wellness Wednesdays, featuring personal development workshops and a VR mindfulness room; Cooking Matters Families and Kids, whi
The Foundation also provides Family Matters, an annual membership program offering family bonding field trips, parent education, respite care through Parent Night Out, and other activities that strengthen family relationships. Older adults benefit from the Golden Years Program, which provides educational workshops, wellness activities, and opportunities for social connection.
In 2021, the Peace Center received an exemption through Georgia DECAL's Bright from the Start program to provide short-term educational classes and full-day camps for K–12 students during school breaks. The center also hosts parent education, homeschool enrichment, and community resource programs Monday through Thursday.
Over the past several years, the Peace Center has grown into a comprehensive family resource center serving Carroll County and the surrounding areas. By integrating education, wellness, food security, and supportive social services under one roof, the center empowers children, adults, seniors, and families to build healthier, stronger, and more resilient communities.

🎉 Kidz Cafe! 🎉
Carroll County
2026-2027 Academic Year
Kidz Café To-Go is a weekly afternoon snack program offered every Thursday for youth enrolled in the Adell Foundation Family Matters Program.
Each participating child receives a grab-and-go snack or light meal to help bridge the gap between lunch and dinner. Depending on donations and product availability, snack packs may include pizza, Chick-fil-A items, sandwiches, chips, crackers, cookies, breakfast bars, juice, bottled water, and other kid-friendly snacks.
The Kidz Café To-Go program is made possible through the generosity of our community partners, food donors, and volunteers who are committed to helping ensure children have access to food after school.
